From October 31 to November 1, 2020, the 7th China World Economics Experts and Young Scholars Academic Forum and the 2nd China World Economics Association American Economic Forum were held at our school. This academic forum is organized by the World Economic Research Institute of Fudan University, a key research base for humanities and social sciences under the Ministry of Education, and the American Economic Forum of the China World Economics Association. It is hosted by the School of International Economics and Trade at Anhui University of Finance and Economics, and is co-sponsored by the editorial department of journals such as World Economics, China&World Economy, Journal of Asian Economics ,Financial Research, Nankai Economic Research, World Economic Literature, Zhejiang Academic Journal, International Economic Review, and World Economic Situation. Nearly 200 experts, scholars, senior editors, and media workers from over 40 universities and research institutions of social sciences academies across the country, 9 journals, and media outlets such as China Financial Media Group participated in this forum.

Professor Feng Delian, Vice President of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Professor Xing Xiaobing, Dean of the School of International Economics and Trade, presided over the opening ceremony. Researcher Sun Jie, Institute of World Economy and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Deputy Editor in Chief of World Economy, Professor Luo Changyuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Liberal Arts Research of Fudan University, Professor Kou Zonglai, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics of Fudan University, Associate Researcher Song Jin, Director of the Editorial Department of China&World Economy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Deputy Director of the Institute of World Economy of Fudan University Professor Shen Guobing, the coordinator of the China World Economic Discipline and the US Economic Forum, and other representatives attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
On the morning of October 31, eight experts made academic reports at the keynote report forum of the conference. In the afternoon, six sub forums focused on the world economy, and China's economy, technological innovation, and policies, trade organizations and policies, and China's economy. More than 30 young and middle-aged experts and scholars made paper reports. On the morning of November 1st, the expert academic forum focused on topics such as the world economy, the US economy, and the Chinese economy, with 18 experts presenting paper reports. The participating experts had a warm and in-depth discussion on the theme of the evolution of the world economic pattern and the economic development of China and the United States .

On the morning of November 1st, the closing ceremony of this forum was presided over by Professor Xing Xiaobing, Dean of the School of International Economics and Trade at Anhui University of Finance and Economics. Professor Shen Guobing, Deputy Director of the World Economic Research Institute at Fudan University and Coordinator of the China World Economic Discipline and the US Economic Forum, delivered the closing speech of the 7th Academic Forum. He pointed out that this forum was held against the backdrop of the successful convening of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee. On behalf of the organizers, he warmly congratulated the academic forum on successfully completing the research topic and achieving the expected research results.
Addressing by the leader of the organizer of the next academic forum, Professor Li Xiaoping, Dean of the School of Economics at Central South University of Economics and Law, delivered an enthusiastic speech as the organizer of the 8th China World Economic Experts and Young Scholars Academic Forum and the 3rd China World Economics Association American Economic Forum in 2021.
Finally, with warm applause from experts and scholars, the 7th China World Economics Experts and Young Scholars Academic Forum and the 2nd China World Economics Association American Economic Forum have come to a very successful conclusion!
