Release Time:2023-03-13Visits:39

On the afternoon of November 19, the seventy-seventh postgraduate bi-weekly forum of the Institute of International Economics and Trade was successfully held in Room 301, Administrative Building 2. This forum invited two teachers, Xu Deyun and Liu Min, to attend and comment on the report paper, and some graduate students of the college attended the meeting.

First of all, Liu Wei, a 2021 graduate student, made a paper report. Her research content is whether the digital economy can narrow the urban-rural income gap from the perspective of the development of the circulation industry. This paper uses principal component analysis to measure the development level of digital economy, and examines the relationship between digital economy and urban-rural income gap based on the perspective of circulation industry. Next, Jin Yirong, a 2021 graduate student, reported the content of the paper. She studied the relationship between the digital economy, the development of the circulation industry and the construction of a unified domestic market. This article uses panel linear regression, intermediary effect model and nonlinear threshold regression model to conduct empirical analysis to verify the relationship and mechanism between the digital economy, the development of the circulation industry and the domestic unified market.

After the report, the two teachers made detailed comments and guidance on the content of the paper. First, they affirmed the standardization of the format of the paper and the appropriateness of the text expression of the two students, and then pointed out the problems of the paper in terms of title, framework and mechanism analysis, including the clear title overview, avoiding the difficulty of controlling the topic, paying equal attention to mechanism analysis and empirical analysis, and the fact that the literature views are auxiliary rather than the main body of argument. During the review, the participants listened carefully and recorded, and said that they had benefited a lot from this academic forum.

The successful holding of this academic forum not only promoted the academic exchange among the graduate students of the college, but also deepened the understanding and understanding of the thesis writing, and helped the students in their future academic research.
