From October 15 to October 17, 2021, the finals of the fifth national innovation and entrepreneurship elite challenge competition for international business majors hosted by the National Steering Committee for post-graduate education of international business major and undertook by Central South University of Economics and Law were grandly held in Central South University of Economics and Law. The team named “obvious wisdom” (members: Yang Jiajie, Wang Shuangshuang, Shen Shizhe, Hu Jinmiao and Liang Li) under the cooperation and guidance of Ge Qiuying and Xu Jiexiang from the School of International Economics and Trade of AUFE stood out from the preliminary team and entered the national finals. Finally, it ranked second in the finals and won the national second prize.
With the theme of transformation and innovation of international enterprises in the context of double cycle, according to the principle of two-way anonymous evaluation, and approved by the competition evaluation committee,Create a new power of aggregation ; turn to a high platform of intelligence ------a case analysis of Guoxian’s scientific and technological innovation and transformation based on the context of double cycle” are among the top eight finalists. 64 teams from 33 International Business Master training universities including Beijing Foreign Study University, Shanghai University of Foreign Trade and Economics, Central South University of Economics and Law, NanKai University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Northeast University of Finance and Economics and Central University of Finance and Economics participated in the competition.
The final took Dongfeng Motor as an example and lasted three days and two nights. Our university’s team submitted the overseas market expansion plan of electric vehicles under the background of double cycle - Case Analysis Based on Dongfeng Motor, and gave a full English report and defense to the preliminary and final works. After fierce competition, our team won the second prize of the national competition with exquisite professional nutrition and fluent English expression.
The competition has been held for five consecutive years. Under the guidance of the National Steering Committee for graduate education of International Business Major, it is an all English competition based on the combination of theory and practice participated by international business universities in order to further promote the cultivation of innovative and entrepreneurial talents in International Business Field, enrich and expand the teaching practice activities of innovative and entrepreneurial talents. Holding the competition is hard and it takes a long time, and the total number of participating universities has reached 200. The competition started in April this year and lasted for more than half a year to the finals. Under the leadership of the team leader, the participating teams went deep into Guoxian technology for many times to conduct enterprise research, literature study and discussion, and write case analysis reports in English. By promoting practical ability through competition, the competition has trained students' academic innovation ability, planning and analysis ability and pressure management ability, demonstrated the strength of graduate students majoring in international business of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, promoted the innovation of international business talent training mode of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, and improved the quality of talent training quality. It has also had a great impact in the institutions that have set up graduate students majoring in international business all over the country.
