In order to meet the development needs of students to improve themselves and broaden their international vision, the ACCA Elite Class has been established, which is jointly built by School of International Trade and Economics and Shanghai Zeji Education and Training, the ACCA Official teaching institution. This class adopts a cultivation system that provides courses on weekends, summer vocations and winter vocations as students’ minor courses, and aims at cultivating financial and trade talents with international vision. From now on, the class will recruit students from the whole university, and the selective admission is no more than 50 students.
1. Introduction of ACCA
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is one of the most prestigious qualifications in the fields of accounting, finance and management in China, which is regarded as a pass to access the high-end accounting and finance industry worldwide.
ACCA has 227,000 members and 544,000 students around the world, who are active in various fields and are internationally recognized as professional accountants and favored worldwide in the industry.

There are 7,571 employers worldwide accepting ACCA, and the influence of ACCA covers 179 countries. The members and students of ACCA will gain more opportunities and competitive advantages in the process of finding employment.

3. Domestic Policy Support for ACCA
Many cities in China have involved ACCA into high-level talent introduction policies and provide them preferential policies and subsidies. Major cities having relevant talent support policies include Guangdong, Chengdu, Xian, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Chongqin, Tianjin, Zhuhai, Ningbo and Hainan.
4. Overseas diploma with ACCA
ACCA students can also obtain the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, the Master’s degree of Business Administration from Oxford Brookes University, and the Master's degree of Professional Accounting from University of London while gaining ACCA, so that students can obtain three degrees from famous overseas universities without going abroad.
5.Curriculum of ACCA
ACCA curriculum system is divided into two stages, the basic stage and the professional stage, and invloves four categories of courses, including knowledge courses, skill courses, vocational core courses, and vocational minor courses. There are 15 courses in total, and students have to pass 13 of them.
