I. Program Overview
Master of International Business was established in Anhui University of Finance and Economics with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2010 and had began to recruit students since 2011. It is one of the first batch of units obtaining the right to confer master's degree of International Business in China. There are 12 tutors in this discipline, all of whom have the title of doctor, associate professor or above in economics or management, and Professor Youguang Zhao is in charge of the discipline. The teaching and research fields of full-time teachers cover a wide range of disciplines, such as economics, management and law, with a relatively broad knowledge reserve and a reasonable knowledge structure. In addition, there are 16 part-time tutors have been employed, who have rich practical experience in the public sector or in private industry.
II. Discipline Advantages
This discipline meets the strategic needs of The Rise of Central China and Eastward Development in Anhui, and focuses on export-oriented enterprises. The goal of the graduate programs is to cultivates international business talents who are well-equipped with international business knowledge, pioneering spirit, strategic vision on international market, and decision-making ability of transnational business, which shapes the discipline into a national MIB education base with distinctive characteristics. There are three research directions in this discipline, including international strategic planning, international business environment assessment and global marketing.
